The Pawsitive K9 Coach, LLC

The Pawsitive K9 Coach, LLC trains dogs using a positive, reward based approach with the R+ method. We specialize in positive reinforcement training rooted in a humane philosophy that builds trust, confidence, and a strong bond between you and your dog. Instead of using force or punishment, we teach dogs through rewards when they perform desired skills or behaviors.

We offer a range of professional training programs designed to meet the needs of both dogs and their owners. Our in-home lessons are fully customized for each client and pet. We work with puppies getting started the right way, as well as dogs needing basic or advanced obedience. We also help fearful dogs build confidence, reactive dogs improve leash behavior, and dogs that need social skill development. For clients with disabilities, we assist with service dog training. We also help dogs become therapy dogs for community involvement. All of this can be accomplished through our in-home lessons.

Our board and train kamps are a popular option for clients who want faster progress or structured training. Many clients choose kamps because they have limited time, are traveling, or want to reinforce existing training. We offer 1, 2, and 3 week board and train kamps. We also provide daily board and train kamps for weekend getaways or as a jump start for young puppies.

We also offer the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Preschool program, designed to give puppies and their owners a strong foundation. These classes focus on puppy socialization, behavior prevention, and an introduction to basic obedience. Training sessions teach owners how to communicate clearly and effectively with their puppies. The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program serves as a natural lead in to the AKC Canine Good Citizen Program, progressing from Puppy Manners through Advanced Obedience in public settings. In addition to in-home lessons and board and train kamps, we offer AKC Puppy Preschool classes at select local veterinarian hospitals.

The Pawsitive K9 Coach, LLC holds professional dog trainer accreditations through CCPDT, the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. We are also associated with respected organizations including APDT, the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, AKC, the American Kennel Club, IAABC, the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, and the Pet Professional Guild. We will celebrate our 10 year anniversary in 2026 and are expanding to West Palm Beach along with additional services.
