Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium

Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium is a vibrant 110-acre on-leash dog-friendly Broward County regional park located at the corner of Sunrise Boulevard and State Road 7 in Lauderhill. Serving central Broward communities with expansive green space and world-class sporting venues, the park welcomes dogs on a six-foot non-retractable leash across its paved walking, jogging, and biking trails and manicured lakeside lawns.

Dog walkers enjoy a scenic 1.5-mile paved perimeter trail, shaded corporate and family picnic pavilions, waterfront benches overlooking a central lake, drinking water fountains, pet-waste bag stations, public restrooms, and large paved parking lots. The park also features synthetic-turf athletic fields, netball and basketball courts, a family water park, and the nation's premier international cricket stadium.

Central Broward Park operates daily from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM during spring and summer and from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM during fall and winter. General park admission is free Monday through Friday, with a regular weekend and holiday gate admission fee of $3 per vehicle for up to eight occupants. Under Broward County Parks rules, dogs must remain on a non-retractable leash six feet long or shorter, wear current rabies tags, and are not permitted inside Broward County Stadium, the water park, or fenced athletic fields. The wide paved perimeter loop and breezy lakeside lawns provide plenty of room for brisk morning walks or relaxed late-afternoon exercise with your dog.
