Doggy Paddle Tour

Paddle, play and explore with your pup! Sunrise Paddleboards invites you to choose your own adventure on the water, whether you head out on your own or follow a guide. The route runs about 1.2 miles each way toward Colohatchee Park & Dog Park, roughly 20-30 minutes each way. It's beginner-friendly, and you don't need a dog to join in.

• Paddle on your own - $35 per person: kayak or paddleboard rental, paddle and standard safety equipment, a basic launch orientation, route information and time to explore.
• Guided tour - add $30 per person ($65 total): follow one of the guides, which is great for first-time paddlers or anyone who wants to relax and follow the leader. The guided tour takes about 1.5-2 hours.

Doggie life vests are available to rent in Small, Medium and Large for dogs of roughly 20-90 lbs: $15 for 1 day, $35 for 3 days or $50 for 1 week. Supplies are limited and first-come, first-served, so call 954-738-6400 to reserve one. You're also welcome to bring your dog's own properly fitted vest. Last launch is 3:30 PM.

Bring water for you and your dog, a leash, waste bags, a towel, sunscreen, a hat or sunglasses, a waterproof phone case, treats and clothes that can get wet. Please keep your dog under control around other guests and animals. Weather, tides and water conditions may change the route or launch times. Free parking is available, and refunds are offered up to 3 days before the event.
