Good Karma Pet Rescue
Rescued Is Our Favorite Breed
Founded in 2011 by Stacey Tollackson, Good Karma Pet Rescue emerged from a passion for animal welfare nurtured through years of volunteering and fostering with local groups.
Our journey began with a handful of dedicated foster homes and has blossomed into a vast network of compassionate individuals spanning from Kendall to Port Saint Lucie, supported by over twelve partnering veterinary clinics. We're proud to be recognized as Florida's largest foster-based animal rescue, having provided a new lease on life to more than 2,000 dogs and cats in 2022 alone.
At Good Karma, we open our hearts to dogs and cats of every size, age, breed, and medical background. Our commitment is to ensure they find a loving, safe environment, be it in one of our foster homes or at the Good Karma Pet Adoption Center.
Our core mission is the rescue and rehabilitation of as many dogs and cats as possible, utilizing our human and financial resources effectively. We are meticulous in managing the generous donations we receive, ensuring funds are allocated wisely for maximum impact.
In addition to finding homes for adoptable pets, we've expanded our outreach to include support for terminally ill and special needs animals, community cats via our TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program, and assistance for pet owners in need through our pet food pantry. The Good Karma Pet Clinic also provides affordable routine veterinary care, furthering our commitment to the well-being of pets and their families.
