Free on-leash dog-friendly Broward County neighborhood park in Fort Lauderdale with paved walking paths, shaded lawns, and picnic areas.
About
Boulevard Gardens Community Center Park is an official on-leash dog-friendly Broward County neighborhood park situated within the Broward Municipal Services District in Fort Lauderdale. While the park does not have a fenced off-leash dog run, it welcomes dogs on a six-foot non-retractable leash throughout its paved walking and jogging paths and open Bermuda grass lawns.
The park grounds feature shaded picnic shelters, outdoor tables, park benches, drinking water fountains, pet-waste bag stations, a basketball court, a shaded children's playground, and public restrooms inside the adjacent community center building. Mature tropical trees provide pleasant canopy shade along the perimeter walkway, and free paved parking is available right beside the park entrance.
Admission and parking at Boulevard Gardens Community Center Park are completely free seven days a week year-round. Outdoor park grounds operate daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, while the community center building hosts weekday recreation and senior programs. In accordance with Broward County Parks rules, all visiting dogs must remain on a non-retractable leash no longer than six feet at all times, wear a collar with current rabies vaccination tags, stay out of indoor community center rooms and playground structures, and have all pet waste cleaned up immediately. With free daily admission, level paved walkways, and shady picnic tables, this neighborhood park offers an easy and accessible outdoor routine for local dogs.
