C.B. Smith Park

C.B. Smith Park is a 299-acre on-leash dog-friendly Broward County regional park stretching along Flamingo Road in Pembroke Pines. One of the largest and most diverse recreational parks in South Florida, the property welcomes dogs on a six-foot non-retractable leash along its miles of paved lakeside walking, jogging, and biking trails, open grassy meadows, and full-hookup RV and tent campground loops.

Along the shaded trail system, pet owners find numerous covered picnic pavilions, lakeside benches, drinking water fountains, pet-waste bag dispensers, public restrooms, and expansive paved parking areas. The park also features a 60-acre central lake with fishing piers, a family golfing center, tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts, and shaded playgrounds.

C.B. Smith Park operates seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM during spring and summer and from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM during fall and winter. Admission is free on weekdays, while weekends and county-observed holidays carry a gate entrance fee of $3 per vehicle for up to eight occupants. All visiting dogs must remain on a non-retractable six-foot leash at all times, wear current rabies vaccination tags, and stay out of the Paradise Cove water park, park lakes, and athletic courts. Whether you are camping for the weekend in a pet-friendly RV site or strolling the lakeside trail loop, the park offers endless room to explore.
