Golden Isles Dog Park

Golden Isles Dog Park is a premier fenced off-leash dog park situated inside Golden Isles Park in eastern Hallandale Beach. Managed by the City of Hallandale Beach Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department, the facility provides a secure double-gated entry vestibule and two separate fenced compounds for large dogs and small dogs weighing under 30 pounds, both surfaced with mud-free K9 artificial grass turf.

Inside the synthetic-turf enclosures, dogs and owners enjoy canine drinking water fountains, shaded tables and chairs, park benches, mature shade trees, and pet-waste bag dispensers. Just outside the dog-park gates, Golden Isles Park features free paved parking, indoor public restrooms, lighted tennis and pickleball courts, a playground, picnic shelters, and scenic walkways where dogs can stroll on a six-foot non-retractable leash.

Admission and parking at Golden Isles Dog Park are completely free seven days a week. The off-leash areas operate daily from 7:30 AM to dusk, with a routine maintenance closure every Thursday morning for K9 turf cleaning and sanitation. City rules require all dogs to be over four months of age, wear current rabies vaccination and license tags, and remain under close adult supervision, with a limit of three dogs per person and no food, glass, or prong collars inside the play yards. Thanks to the fast-draining K9 artificial turf surface and shaded seating tables, pups can play hard without tracking mud or dirt back into the car.
