Tree Tops Park

Tree Tops Park is a breathtaking 243-acre on-leash dog-friendly Broward County regional park nestled in the equestrian town of Davie. Set atop an ancient prehistoric sand ridge and shaded by a dense canopy of towering live oaks, tropical hammock, and restored freshwater marsh, the park welcomes dogs on a six-foot non-retractable leash along its paved multi-use trails, shaded park roads, and open grassy picnic meadows.

Under the cool oak canopy, handlers and their leashed dogs enjoy miles of scenic walking paths, covered picnic pavilions with tables and grills, lakeside benches, drinking water fountains, pet-waste bag dispensers, public restrooms, and ample paved parking. The park also features a 23-acre freshwater lake with pedal boat rentals, equestrian trails, an observation tower, and a shaded playground.

Tree Tops Park is open seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM during spring and summer and from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM during fall and winter. Admission is free Monday through Friday, while weekends and county-observed holidays carry a regular gate entrance fee of $3 per vehicle for up to eight occupants. All visiting dogs must remain on a non-retractable six-foot leash at all times, wear current rabies tags, yield courteously to horses, and stay off restricted nature center boardwalks. Exploring the shaded live oak ridge and marsh-side trails gives leashed dogs a cool, nature-filled adventure in the heart of Davie.
