About
Vista View Park is a 272-acre on-leash dog-friendly Broward County regional park in western Davie. Famous for boasting the highest man-made elevation in Broward County at 65 feet above sea level, this breezy hill park offers sweeping panoramic views of the Everglades and downtown skylines while welcoming dogs on a six-foot non-retractable leash across its miles of paved walking, running, and cycling trails and crushed-shell paths.
Fitness-minded dog owners flock to the park's rolling hillside loops, lakeside trails, covered picnic shelters with tables and grills, hillside benches, outdoor fitness equipment, drinking water fountains, pet-waste bag dispensers, public restrooms, and large paved parking lots. The park also features catch-and-release fishing lakes, equestrian trails, a radio-controlled model aircraft field, basketball courts, and a shaded playground.
Vista View Park operates seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM during spring and summer and from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM during fall and winter. Admission is free Monday through Friday, with a regular weekend and holiday gate entrance fee of $3 per vehicle for up to eight occupants. Under Broward County Parks rules, all visiting dogs must remain on a non-retractable six-foot leash at all times, wear current rabies vaccination tags, and have all pet waste bagged promptly. Climbing the breezy 65-foot ridge trails rewards dogs and handlers with panoramic Everglades vistas and an energizing hillside workout.
