Dog Park At Oakridge Park

Dog Park at Oakridge Park is a fenced off-leash dog play area located inside 37-acre Oakridge Park in western Hollywood near the Dania Cut-Off Canal. Maintained by the City of Hollywood Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts, the enclosure features a secure double-gated entry and a spacious natural grass and mulch run where neighborhood dogs can exercise off-leash and socialize in a safe, enclosed setting.

Inside the fenced play yard, visitors find canine drinking water stations, a hose rinse area, shaded park benches, mature canopy trees, and pet-waste bag dispensers. Outside the dog enclosure, the 37-acre community park provides two free paved parking lots, public restrooms, lighted athletic courts, a shaded playground, picnic pavilions, and paved perimeter walking paths where dogs are welcome on a six-foot non-retractable leash.

Admission and parking at Dog Park at Oakridge Park are completely free, and the facility is open daily from sunrise to sunset. Under City of Hollywood dog-park regulations, all visiting dogs must be at least four months old, wear a collar displaying current rabies vaccination and county license tags, and remain under close adult supervision at all times. Female dogs in heat, aggressive dogs, and glass containers are not permitted inside the enclosure, and handlers must clean up pet waste immediately. Combining a secure off-leash play yard with a wide-open community park loop gives high-energy dogs the best of both worlds on every visit.
