Dog Park At Jefferson Park

Dog Park at Jefferson Park is an official City of Hollywood fenced off-leash dog park located inside historic Jefferson Park in east Hollywood, just blocks west of Federal Highway. Surrounded by residential streets and tropical foliage, the fenced dog run features a double-gated entry area and a natural grass and mulch surface where dogs can run off-leash, play fetch, and greet neighborhood canine companions.

Inside the enclosure, pet owners have access to canine drinking water fountains, shaded seating benches, pet-waste bag dispensers, and trash receptacles beneath mature shade trees. Outside the fenced dog area, Jefferson Park offers free parking, restrooms, lighted tennis and basketball courts, a shaded playground, picnic tables, and a paved perimeter walking path where dogs are welcome on a six-foot non-retractable leash.

Admission to Dog Park at Jefferson Park is completely free, and the park welcomes visitors seven days a week from sunrise to sunset. In keeping with City of Hollywood municipal regulations, all dogs must wear a collar with current rabies vaccination and county license tags, and puppies younger than four months as well as female dogs in heat are not permitted inside the off-leash compound. Handlers must remain inside the fence with their dogs, leash pets before exiting, and dispose of all waste. With its quiet residential backdrop, shaded perimeter benches, and paved park loop just outside the gate, it is an easy everyday stop for local pups.
